Man vs Food in St. Louis
Adam Richman came to St. Louis a couple of years ago with Man versus Food. First, he stopped at Iron Barley to sample the pork loin and the Monte Cristo dog. Later, he visited Pappy’s to pig out on barbeque.
Then, he went to Crown Candy Kitchen to take on the Malt/Milk Shake Challenge: Five in 30 minutes!
To watch Adam and to get a great look at Iron Barley (with Tom), Pappy’s (with Mike, Skip and Walter) and Crown Candy (with Andy), click on the video.
If you want to take the challenge at Crown Candy, click HERE for details.
Saturday, March 2
We’ll visit Saturday with Companion’s Josh Allen. We’ll chat about his bread and the many places around St. Louis where you may have tasted it during his company’s 20 years (!) in business. Here is his official portrait, lifted from the Companion website.
Also tomorrow, we’ll talk to Justin Haifley, chef at The Tavern at Big Bend and Dougherty Ferry in West County. Here’s Justin:
Plus, we’ll tell you about the movie A Place at the Table and give away passes to see the movie at the Tivoli in University City.
Listen at 11:00 a.m. on 590-AM, KFNS. And via kfns.com. (You can also hear the show and everything else on 590 via the TuneIn Radio app on your smartphone.)
