Saturday, December 8

This Saturday, December 8, our guests include Matt Sorrell who writes about food and drink for several local publications. We’ll talk about “Potent Potables,” to use the Jeopardy term for alcoholic beverages. Matt, by the way, has a great article on stocking your home bar in the December issue of Sauce magazine.

redradioAlso on Saturday, we’ll chat with Maggie and Bridget Kelly, who hosted “Food Talk with the Kelly Twins” on KTRS for ten years. They’ll be in studio to talk about their most recent exploits in the world of St. Louis eating and drinking.

Listen at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, on 590-the Fan, KFNS! Also streamed live on kfns.com.

December 1

Our show will not air on November 24, due to an early start for Illinois football.

On December 1, we will broadcast “Food Talk STL” live from Vom Fass at 7314 Manchester in Maplewood. (11:00 a.m. to noon on 590-AM, KFNS.)

Stop in if you can and check out their line of oils, vinegars, liqueurs and wonderful gift ideas. If you can’t stop in, listen to the show and visit Vom Fass later. Our show also streams live via kfns.com.

This Weekend’s Show

On Saturday, November 17, we bring you another roundtable discussion show with guests sharing their thoughts and opinions about a variety of food and drink related topics.

Our panelists are Beckie Jacobs of Serendipity Ice Cream in Webster Groves, Marianne Moore of Dierberg’s School of Cooking in Des Peres and Michael Renner, restaurant reviewer for Sauce magazine.

We’ll talk about several Thanksgiving things, of course, as well as wine, beer, grits, Guy Fieri, fruitcake and waiting for a table at a restaurant.

Listen at 11:00 a.m. to noon Saturday on 590-AM, KFNS, St. Louis. You may also listen online at kfns.com.

No Show on 10/27

Because the University of Illinois has an early kickoff on Saturday, our show will not be aired on KFNS this weekend.

We invite you to listen throughout November and December as we share conversations with more of the neat folks who prepare and offer food and drink all over the St. Louis region.

If you have a guest suggestion or want to inquire about advertising on Food Talk STL, contact the show via email: foodtalkstl@yahoo.com.
