Nick Malgieri on Saturday’s Show

He has a new book called “Bread,” subtitled “Plus Sweet and Savory Recipes Made From Bread.” We’ll talk about the book, its recipes and its “shout out” to a local bar.

We’ll also talk about his appearance next week at Cravings in Webster (Monday evening) and his experiences working with Julia Child.

Cookie Bakers, Check This Out!

Beginning Nov. 8, Hershey’s invites you to Bake, Share & Win on Pinterest. Participants can pin a photo of their finished Hershey’s baking recipe with the hashtag #CookieHQ and email the photo to bakeandshare@young-america.com. Ten winners will be randomly selected to receive a Baking Prize Pack (ARV $100).

The sweepstakes runs until midnight ET on January 13th, but there are actually 10 winning opportunities — one each week of the Pinterest Challenge (from Monday through Sunday night of each week).

No Show on 10/27

Because the University of Illinois has an early kickoff on Saturday, our show will not be aired on KFNS this weekend.

We invite you to listen throughout November and December as we share conversations with more of the neat folks who prepare and offer food and drink all over the St. Louis region.

If you have a guest suggestion or want to inquire about advertising on Food Talk STL, contact the show via email: foodtalkstl@yahoo.com.
